Buenos Aires, December 19 (NA) – The Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) affirmed that citizens' data is properly safeguarded and dismissed that a supposed leak affected the agency's databases. "In response to the versions circulating about a supposed leak of data of Argentine citizens, the Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) denies any incident that compromises the security of the information managed by the agency," the body stated. ARCA confirmed that "no unauthorized access, system breach or compromise of taxpayers' databases has been detected. It is also clarified that the data presented in the supposed leak does not correspond to confidential information or protected by tax secrecy". "It is important to highlight that the agency continuously monitors its technological infrastructure and applies best practices in data protection, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information," the communiqué received by the Argentine News Agency concluded.
